Acenta Group signs first leasing agreement in the UK
Acenta Group AB ("Acenta Group" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has signed its first leasing agreement in the United Kingdom with Padel Société Limited ("Padel Société"), operating under Acenta UK. The agreement covers the leasing of three POP UP courts for an initial period of five months and will thereafter continue on a monthly basis with one month's notice of termination. This marks the Company's entry into the UK leasing market and represents an important milestone in Acenta Group's international expansion strategy. The client has further outlined an ambition to install an additional 10-20 courts over the next 5-12 months, underscoring the growth potential of the collaboration. Each court generates a smaller recurring minimum monthly revenue stream, providing Acenta Group with predictable cash flow. Taken together, the agreement lays the foundation for recurring revenues and scalable growth in the UK market.
The leased courts are part of Acenta Group's POP UP concept - portable / temporary padel courts that are installed for a minimum of six months and can and will be relocated to new venues. Courts are leased to clients on a monthly license fee model. The first courts are scheduled to be shipped from Sweden during the first week of September, with installation planned for mid-September. Leasing revenues will begin immediately. The ambition is that the courts will remain active in the UK market for several years ahead, underscoring the long-term potential of this collaboration.
The client under the leasing agreement is Tour Padel Ltd, which will operate the courts as part of its innovative new model in partnership with the University of Greenwich. Tour Padel's plans for expansion highlight the versatility of the POP UP model in providing padel facilities to universities, clubs, and new communities.
The agreement highlights Acenta Group's commitment to developing innovative business models that drive growth and strengthen the Company's position as a leading full-service provider in the global padel industry.
"This first leasing agreement in the UK is an exciting step for Acenta and a strong validation of our strategy to broaden our offering with flexible solutions. The POP UP model allows us to rapidly scale padel infrastructure, while also creating a recurring revenue stream for the Company. With Padel Société, we have found a partner that shares our vision for growth, and we look forward to supporting the expansion of padel across the UK market", says Håkan Tollefsen, CEO of Acenta Group.
"We are delighted to launch Acenta's POP UP concept in the UK through our partnership with Tour Padel Ltd and the University of Greenwich. Tour Padel's innovative approach to growing the sport aligns perfectly with our mission to make padel more accessible while ensuring quality and sustainability are never compromised. This agreement is an important first step in building a strong platform for long-term growth in the UK and Ireland," says Neil McClure, Director of Padel Société Limited.
