Hardox® wear pipes and tubes now available locally in Slovenia, Bosnia and Croatia
For more than 50 years, Hardox® wear plate has been synonymous with exceptional abrasion resistance and durability—known for its uniquely hard and tough abrasion-resistant steel. Today, that legacy continues as Hardox® wear plate expands its product range to include wear tubes and pipes, engineered to deliver reliable performance and consistent, through-thickness hardness.
Benko-Tehna is now proud to serve as the sole approved distributor of Hardox® pipes and tubes in Slovenia, ensuring that these advanced products are now available locally. Designed to meet the demanding needs of heavy industry, Hardox® wear pipes and tubes offer superior longevity and predictable service life compared to conventional mild steel.
Unmatched wear performance that leaves mild steel well behind
Hardox® pipes and tubes outperform mild steel alternatives in a variety of applications—from concrete and cement plants to the chemical industry, steelworks, foundries and recycling facilities.
In recent field trials, Hardox® 500 wear pipe demonstrated a service life 4 to 5 times longer than that of mild steel pipes when used in concrete pumping applications. In another test, a 5 mm thick Hardox® 500 pipe provided twice the service life of an 8 mm mild steel pipe under comparable conditions.
Hardox® pipes and tubes for wet and dry applications in construction, mining, transport and agriculture
Hardox® pipes and tubes for structural applications
They can also be used as load-bearing tubes in a variety of buckets and other heavy equipment attachments. As structural components, Hardox® pipes and tubes leverage both wear resistance capabilities and their high yield strength.
Local stock and expanded reach
Benko Tehna now supplies Hardox® pipes and tubes not only throughout Slovenia but also to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.
