Crunchfish Winner of the CB+DC Focused Innovation Award 2025
Crunchfish was proudly announced yesterday, September 9th, as winner of the Focused Innovation Award during the CB+DC Conference at the iconic Atlantis Hotel in Nassau, The Bahamas. This recognition highlights the company’s innovative approach, impact on the industry, and contribution to advancing CBDC adoption globally.
Crunchfish received the prestigious award with the following citation from the jury: "The Focused Innovation award recognizes breakthrough projects or technologies that solve a specific challenge in digital currency or payment infrastructure with transformative potential. The organization recognizes Crunchfish for combining practical central bank pilots with a strong vision for offline and quantum-safe CBDC resilience."
The other shortlisted companies in the category were the French company Idemia, and Taler Systems from Luxemburg. This award represents another validation for the innovative way of Crunchfish rethinking payments.
The CB+DC Conference 2025 continues today and tomorrow, when participants will exchange insights, showcase innovations, and set priorities for the future of digital currencies.
