Beyond Frames’ GORN 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City Secured for Valve’s New Steam Frame VR Platform

Two Cortopia Studios titles receive Steam Frame Verified status ahead of the launch of Valve’s new VR headset, positioning both games for increased visibility and access to a new generation of VR players.

Beyond Frames Entertainment AB (publ) today announces that GORN 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City, developed by its subsidiary Cortopia Studios, have received Steam Frame Verified status and will be featured in Steam’s “Great on Frame” category.

The verification means that both titles meet Valve’s performance and compatibility requirements for Steam Frame, positioning them for increased discoverability among consumers adopting Valve’s new VR platform.

For Beyond Frames, the verification represents an opportunity to extend the commercial reach of two of Cortopia Studios’ key titles as a new VR hardware ecosystem enters the market. By securing verified status ahead of the headset’s launch, both games are positioned to benefit from the attention and consumer activity surrounding the introduction of Steam Frame.

Steam Frame was announced by Valve in November 2025 as a standalone SteamOS virtual reality headset. The device is designed to run compatible games natively on the headset while also allowing users to wirelessly stream their Steam library from a PC.

Valve’s Steam Frame Verified program provides consumers with a clear indication of which titles have been tested for compatibility and performance on the new hardware. Verified titles can be surfaced through Steam’s “Great on Frame” category, creating an additional discovery channel for games optimized for the platform.

Valve has announced a summer 2026 shipping window for Steam Frame.
