Castellum develops and leases warehouse building in Ringön, Gothenburg
Earlier this week, Castellum started the development of a modern warehouse building of approximately 6,000 sq m in Ringön, Gothenburg. Half of the premises have already been leased, and occupancy is expected in early Q2 2027. The total investment volume amounts to SEK 101 M.
The new facility is designed to meet the growing demand for modern warehouse buildings in centrally located areas. The building will be divided into two flexible units for logistics and light industrial use. Castellum has signed a ten-year lease agreement for half of the new facility, which will be used for warehouse operations, offices and a wholesale outlet.
“We are seeing strong interest in Ringön. Demand for modern warehouse buildings in the Gothenburg area is strong, and Ringön offers an accessible and strategic location for many types of businesses,” says Örjan Rystedt, Managing Director, Castellum Region West.
Ringön has a long industrial tradition and is now developing into a mixed and creative district, with close links to Gothenburg city centre and major transport routes. The area is home to craft businesses, studios, design ateliers, logistics operations, restaurants and small-scale production.
Castellum currently owns 12 properties in the area.
